Discovery Camp is for the child who wants to try everything and find out what they love most. A week full of horseback riding, high ropes, swimming, and archery. Every day ends with campfire songs, stories, and conversations about faith. They come home surprised by what they loved, already asking when they can go back.
Three Ways to Experience Discovery Camp
- Co-Ed Weeks Action-packed weeks for boys and girls together, running across a range of ages all summer.
- All-Girls Weeks Two weeks for girls ages 8 to 13. The full Discovery Camp experience.
- Teen Week For campers ages 13 to 15. Later nights, higher energy, and campfire discussions that go a little deeper, with space to ask real questions.
“He is very much a homebody, but we were shocked at how eager he was to go every day. It really brought him out of his shell and built his confidence. We are so thankful to the staff for making it such a positive experience."

Activities
Horseback riding
Visit the barn for three recreational horseback riding sessions during the week. Learn basic horse safety and the riding skills to get started, including how to start, stop and steer a horse. Sessions focus on giving campers a fun, hands-on riding experience.
Swimming
Cool off after a full day of camp fun. Campers enjoy recreational swim time to splash, play and relax with friends.
Our 30′ × 60′ outdoor pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards and secured with above-minimum safety protocols like swim tests, extra supervision, and pool safe games.
High ropes course
Climb, balance, leap, and challenge yourself to get across 10 vertical and horizontal elements.
Staff support campers as they get out of their comfort zones without creating pressure. Harness and double-checked safety systems keep kids secure while climbing. Our infrastructure and staff are re-certified annually according to provincial standards.
Climbing tower
How far can you make it up the 32-foot outdoor climbing wall? Challenge yourself on our 3 climbing routes or cargo net to find out! Campers choose how far they’d like to push themselves.

Archery
Learn the basics of safely using a bow and arrow, then try out your new skills with target practice!
Trained archery instructors teach archery in our controlled range setting. All equipment is provided.
Tomahawks
Try your hand at throwing lightweight tomahawks at wooden targets. Learn proper technique and with a little focus and practice, you might just hit the bullseye!
Tomahawks are supervised by trained staff in a controlled range setting.
Archery tag
Using special foam-tipped arrows at the archery tag area, work together to eliminate the other team. Duck around barriers, pull together teamwork, and put those archery skills to the test in battle mode.
Campers wear protective face masks, and we provide all equipment.
