What is your accommodation like?
We offer a variety of room sizes and can help you choose the options that work best for your group. Most of our accommodations are bunk beds, with both upper and lower bunks. You’ll receive a room map so you can assign beds if you wish.
In Jackson Hall, rooms have 3 bunk beds, and some have 1 additional single bed, for a total of 6–7 beds per room. Each room has an attached bathroom. Jackson Hall sleeps up to 107 people.
In the Lodge, rooms have 1, 3, 5, or 9 bunk beds, for a total of 2, 6, 10, or 18 beds per room. The Lodge sleeps up to 54 people.
Our 4 cabins are available in the spring and fall. Each cabin has two rooms with 5 bunk beds, for a total of 10 beds per room, and a middle room with 2 bunk beds, for a total of 4 beds.
Each bed includes a mattress. Guests provide their own bedding and pillow or sleeping bag.
What is your food like?
For overnight groups, we provide a variety of popular items such as lasagna, herb-roasted chicken, souvlaki, and tacos. Select your lunch and dinner menus and evening snack options. Breakfasts include a hearty buffet of hot and cold items. We can cater for most dietary restrictions with advance notice, and we are always a nut-free environment.

Most retreat groups must complete a Hold Harmless Agreement.
School groups must provide a COI. Details will be provided when booking your trip.
Additionally, individual waivers are required for anyone who rides a horse.

How do I pay? Is tax included?
You can pay by:
- cash
- cheque made payable to Circle Square Rach
- e-transfer to grandrivereft@csranch.ca,
- credit card
We will provide an invoice before, during or after your event, whichever is most convenient for you. HST is added to our rates.
What is your minimum booking?
Our minimum booking requirements are:
- day visits = 50
- overnight events in Jackson Hall = 50
- overnight event in the Lodge = 30
- school trips = 20
This means you’ll be charged for the minimum number of guests, even if your group is smaller. For groups larger than the minimum, each additional guest is charged at the regular per-person rate (+HST).
Can anyone ride the horses?
As part of a retreat package:
Riding is available throughout the year, weather permitting, and must be arranged in advance. If your package includes riding, we will schedule one-hour riding sessions for groups of up to 10 people at a time. Children under 8 ride in the arena, while older children and adults enjoy a trail ride through our property.
Helmets are mandatory and provided. A waiver is required for every rider, and riders must weigh under 225 lbs.
Please contact us for details.
Are trail rides and lessons available for non-retreat guests?
Circle Square Ranch occasionally offers trail rides and lessons when we have available staff. Please contact us by email at retreats@csranch.ca for more details.
Do you have an EV charger?
We do not have a charger for electronic vehicles on property.
Is smoking allowed?
Not in the buildings. Let us know if your group requires a designated smoking area.
